Perserverance

If I was offered $50 now or $100 dollars later I would take the $50 now because you never know what is going to happen in the future whether the guy is going to die or he wont be able to get a hold of you later. I wouldn't trust it in the future.

Eventually the goal that I want to achieve is to become a criminal psychologist. I have wanted to be this for a while now and I want to do it by going to college in New York and perusing that career in the city of Manhattan.

Art

Art to me is an expression of something that you think or an emotion that you feel. When I create art I think of something that makes me happy or I think of a story to inspire what I create. Art can be anything from the standard drawing to designing clothes or painting or being an architect; art can come in any form.

My favorite artist is Jackson Pollock, he is most famous for his so called "splatter paint" art. He usually paints the canvas a background color and then takes many different colors of paint and flings it on to his art space. He is very talented and to me he expresses art perfectly.

Thanksgiving

The holiday that is coming up very soon is Thanksgiving and that is when I see my entire family on one day. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays right after Christmas which is cool because they are right next to each other. In my family a traditional Thanksgiving day includes everyone from my family all going to my cousin Vida's house. In total about 15 of us join and celebrate together. Every year my aunt makes a pumpkin pie that everyone devours in about ten minutes.

Usually the day starts off with everyone joining at my cousins house around 3. After everyone gets there my sister, cousins and I go to the kitchen and help finish what is left to make of the thanksgiving feast. My dad and uncles all sit down on the couch and put on a football or baseball game and enjoy themselves until dinner comes. Around 5:00 when the table is set and everything is prepared we gather around a long wooden table that seats all of us. My little cousins sit at there own table off to the side so they can enjoy and talk and play with themselves rather than sit around a big table and be annoyed with all the parents talking. After everyone is seated and we get our servings we all enjoy in silence usually for the first five minutes.

After dinner is one and everyone has had a slice of pie we all sit around the table for a while and share old stories from our childhoods and reminisce about the past year and what good has happened. The reason this is one of my favorite holidays is because of the tradition and the family gatherings that take place on this occasion.

*CHRISTMAS*

Christmas is my favorite holiday and winter is my favorite season of the year. My favorite part is when my family and I get our tree and we take it home that night and decorate it. My sister and I usually decorate it while my father is making dinner. My brother usually hangs lights or helps my father with setting the holiday table for dinner.

My favorite christmas was when I went to New York to visit my mother and we went to rockefellor center and went ice skating. It was a typical day in New York and it was also my favorite. My mother had lived in New York for 4 years and I had been there through every season except for winter. After I had been there for the winter I decided that my favorite time to go would then on be winter.

When I finish up my traditional family morning on christmas day, around 4 we head on over to my aunts house in Mission Viejo. This is where we have our big family christmas with all my uncles, and aunts and cousins there to celebrate together. We eat dinner and open presents afterwards. Over all christmas is my favorite holiday throughout the whole year. 

My Top Five

The genre that I would choose my top five favorite items in would be television shows.

1. My favorite TV show is Vampire Diaries. I like it because it has many plot twists and is an engaging show to watch. It is about vampires as said in the title and it also has one of my favorite actresses Nina Dobrev.
2. My second favorite show is Breaking Bad. This show is in my top five because it is crazy and keeps me entertained the entire time. They just finished up their last season in September and I was at the edge of my seat every week I would watch it. 
3. My third favorite show is Family Guy. When I watch this show it tends to make me laugh for almost the entire duration of the episode. I have finished all ten seasons on Netflix and I watch the new ones and re-runs on TBS.
4. Also in my top five is Law and Order: special victims unit. I love this show because it is what helped me decide that I wanted to become a criminal psychologist. Every episode is different and I enjoy being surprised by whatever they decide to play.
5. The last show in my top five is Greys Anatomy. I watched this show a lot when I was younger and it was not until recently that I decided to actually follow it. They have been on the air for 10 years and are finishing up one of their last seasons. on lifetime.

I would get all these things with the $205 dollars because I believe that they would help me the most when I am trying to survive on an island by myself. I would get the machete for getting coconuts or anything that I need like for making shelter and for killing wild animals if they started to attack me. The first aid kit is pretty self explanitory, if I get cut or hurt I could bandage myself up or I could sterilize things with the acohol that the kit provides. I would sterilize knives or any wounds that I would have. And finally I would get the canopy so that insects do not invade my camp site. And I do not get malaria.
